Holiday card 2010
I created this holiday card for my business in December 2010.
I shot the poinsettia at the Tonkadale Greenhouse in Minnetonka, MN, where my sister-in-law works. I was visiting her and my brother for Thanksgiving. The greenhouse has rows and rows of poinsettias each year, some of them rare varieties. More photos are here.
I Photoshopped out a few surrounding leaves and made the background all black. Then I added the text. Finally, I animated all of it in Flash and added the music.
I posted the card on a separate page on my website, then e-mailed the link to clients, family and friends. Watch the video on YouTube. Be sure to turn up the volume!
