Emergency Dental Care USA
I wrote two press releases for Emergency Dental Care USA. In January 2013, EDC USA took over the patients of a Des Moines dental office that closed suddenly, promising to complete all work that had been started at no additional charge. This press release announced in March that they had treated more than 100 patients. Both the closing and the announcement of patients treated generated positive press coverage from Des Moines TV, newspaper and radio media.
My work for EDC USA began in 2010. For three years, I wrote website copy and blog posts, placed print ads, created public relations campaigns, researched partnership opportunities, and produced several print materials: a folder for a referral program, a tabbed phone scripts book, notepads, promotional items, posters and flyers. I also managed the Halloween Candy Buy Back program for three years. My work ended in 2013 when the owner hired a full-time person to manage all of his marketing.
