Once again I’m preparing for the Halloween Candy Buy Back at Emergency Dental Care USA on 84th & Center. But this year we have a new twist: we’re partnering with Offutt Air Force Base to send our candy directly to Offutt troops. Our candy will be sent via Operation Gratitude to:
- The 763rd Expeditionary Reconnaissance Squadron
- The 763rd Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Unit
The buy back will be held from 3:30 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 1. We will pay $1 per pound up to 5 pounds of candy. Kids will also get a new toothbrush.
We’re encouraging those who come to bring letters or pictures of support for the troops. We’ll also have cards to sign for both packages.
So, if you have too much candy, bring it over. Hope to see you there!
