We’ve redesigned the Catena Creations website to update both the content and the structure of the site, and to add several new features.
The redesign started in August 2013, when I updated the logo in honor of my fifth anniversary. I then tried to update the site with the WordPress theme I’d bought through Themeforest.
Catena Creations has redesigned and updated the AmeriSpec Omaha and Lincoln website. We’ve given it a new look and a new plan for search engine optimization (SEO).
We first redesigned the company’s website in December 2010, then transferred the site to WordPress in 2011. Much has changed since then in the realm of website design, mobile sites and SEO. This update added the latest technology to the site to incorporate those changes.
Everyone has heard the admonition to “keep it simple.” At Catena Creations, we have another admonition to go along with that: Just because you can, doesn’t mean you should.
It was this problem that led my chiropractors, Drs. Craig and Lacey Akridge, to ask me to redesign and update their website for Akridge & Akridge Chiropractic.
Not every business needs a full-sized website, especially when it’s just getting started. One of the many reasons Catena Creations uses the WordPress content management system to set up a Web site is that it provides an ideal solution for starting small and scaling up as a business grows.

Catena Creations has breathed new life into the Web site for the Nebraska Society for Respiratory Care (NSRC).
The site was originally built in Joomla 1.0, which Joomla quit supporting in 2009. Catena Creations updated and maintained the site for a year, then was awarded the contract to rebuild the site in October 2011.
