We’ve redesigned the Catena Creations website to update both the content and the structure of the site, and to add several new features.
The redesign started in August 2013, when I updated the logo in honor of my fifth anniversary. I then tried to update the site with the WordPress theme I’d bought through Themeforest.
This is NOT your ordinary TIPS group. Yes, we exchange tips and referrals and support. But we have so much fun doing it! This group of outgoing, friendly people knows how to play while they work, and care for the group’s members while they’re doing it.
Today is the fifth anniversary of the day I decided to start my own freelancing business. I can’t tell you how exciting it is for me to be able to write this post and say that I made it five years!

To celebrate, I’ve updated my logo. I’m in the process of redesigning and updating my website, which I expect to launch in September.
Applebee’s restaurant in Bellevue has chosen three sports photos by Catena Creations to be displayed as part of the restaurant’s remodeling this spring.
Marion Griffin, an interior designer at Artworkstudio in Mission, KS, supervised the remodeling. She found my sports photos on my SmugMug photo gallery, and contacted me in February 2013 to obtain permission to use them. I gave her permission, and sent some suggegstions for additional photos to consider.
Catena Creations once again managed the Halloween Candy Buy Back for Emergency Dental Care USA. For the third annual event, this year we partnered with Offutt Air Force Base to collect treats for two units stationed in southwest Asia.
The partnership took the event’s success to new heights. We collected 177 pounds of candy on Nov. 1, the day of the event. But we were far from finished.
